Beer Garden
Dancing is amazing—but let’s kick off the weekend by connecting, laughing, and just enjoying each other. Join us for a social focused hangout featuring trivia with John Kirkconnell, a Westie Mic where dancers step outside of WCS to share their hidden talents, and a full lineup of games and fun. Think Giant Jenga showdowns, Galax-Skee battles, Anchors vs. Aliens, and plenty more surprises. Come play, connect, and set the tone for an unforgettable weekend!
Friday Night
All Galactic Power Hour
Every Friday night, a high/low social mixer unlike any other. We shorten songs so everyone has more opportunity to dance with everyone. We also have our All Star and Champion (WSDC) level dancers wear an identifiable band. This is so that attendees know not to ask these dancers for this hour, and these dancers should also not dance with each other for the hour. This is to optimize their comfort, and allow All Star and Champion level dancers to do the asking.

Lindy Night
Lindy Hop classes and social dancing on Saturday night. WCS dancers warmly welcomed and encouraged — no experience required.

Space Gala
Full cosplay (Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Firefly, MCU, Star Trek, Dr. Who, or any Sci-Fi/Fantasy) AND/OR Red Carpet formal. Green Carpet or Red Carpet — dress to impress. You can honestly dress up as whatever your heart desires, or don't... We are your event directors, not fashion police. But we are hoping everyone brings it this year!

The Spot
WCS conventions are incredible… and let’s be honest, they can also be a lot. At Swingtacular, we’re all about giving you the full experience and a place to reset when you need it. Welcome back to The Spot—your all-weekend escape, located in the Bayside Ballroom. A cozy, welcoming space where you can unwind, recharge, and find your center. Drop in for scheduled Puppy Play sessions, take a quiet moment to meditate, get in a good stretch, or simply breathe before jumping back into the energy of the main ballroom. Step in, reset, and come back ready for more!
